That’s why we’re offering a $3,000 grant to bachelor’s degree recipients who complete their education at the Ohio Illinois Center for Broadcasting.

Many programs don’t offer the familiarity with the equipment, nor the actual experience performing the tasks you’ll do on the job. We can help with that. In fact, we’re going to reward you for recognizing that a bachelor’s degree alone may not be enough to get you in the door of this competitive field.

Besides, how much better would it be to confidently say, “Sure, I’ve done newscasts”, or “Yes, I’ve produced commercials. Have you seen my demo?”
