Lombard Campus Updates Feb 2016

Admissions

We would like to extend a warm, hearty welcome to our 27 new February students! We have a very talented group of future broadcasting and media professionals joining us this month and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them. Take advantage of as many opportunities as you can while you are here. This is your time.

Along with the name change to Illinois Media School, our campus has been getting a makeover! Our hallways are sunshiny, new equipment is being introduced, and our space is more efficient and accessible than ever.

If you would like to be part of the Sports Emphasis South Bend Cubs experience, please understand that space is limited. Reach out to me at kloobey@beonair.com or 630-568-6654. If you’re graduation date from the core program is later than May 2016, you will want to be on the 2017 roster, so contact me to get onto that mailing list. Also, if you would like to refer someone to our core broadcasting and media program, please send them my way!

Career Services

It’s an exciting time in Career Services. Recently, we chartered a bus, loaded it with recent Grads, and took a road trip to the fine State of Wisconsin.

Our mission was to get our grads an opportunity to meet and speak with over 35 stations at the Wisconsin Broadcasters Career event. Our Grads had the opportunity to meet station staff and to interview for open positions right on the spot with companies like Midwest Communications, iHeart Media, Gray Television Group, Woodward Communications, and many, many more. Our graduates presented well and left a positive impression with all the station reps. We can’t wait for the next Career Fair coming this fall.
