Sharisa Lee-Vaval, JUNE DAYS student, conducted an extensive interview with Alderman Bob Fioretti, (2nd Ward) today for inclusion in a documentary about the Chicago Public Schools. Sharisa learned how to light the session (place props behind and in front of Alderman to make a drab conference room come alive), record different angles of both the question and answers (all with a one-camera set-up approach) and record B-Roll shots for her voice over script narration. This is a small segment that Sharisa edited for inclusion on the BEONAIR website showcasing the fact that when our students want to talk to public officials – ICB makes it happen!
