Allison Williams of Fox Sports FL and ESPN speaks to Miami Media School Students

Allison Williams took time to speak with students about her career in the sports broadcast industry. Having moved from Michigan to Miami to study at the University of Miami, Allison had a strong desire to stay in South Florida. She was given that chance when she was offered a position as an on-air host for a small market television program. It was that role that opened other doors for her and helped her gain the on-camera experience she needed.

In addition to sharing her career journey with students, Allison provided great insight into how to conduct not only sit down interviews but side line interviews. She also shared her experience on how to handle “difficult” interviews and how to prepare for game-day coverage.
