Ready to meet a true media maven? Say hello to Chad Maxwell, a 2014 graduate of the Illinois Media School and a sports broadcasting pro with some serious chops! Chad first got his feet wet in sports broadcasting, working as a sports update anchor and producer for 87.7 The Game and WGN Radio Sports in Chicago. Radio was a great start in the industry, but his dream was always to be on television. In 2017, Chad began working as a sports reporter for The Comcast Network Chicago. The pandemic forced Comcast to close its doors, but that didn't stop Chad from following his dream, which presented itself in Fort Wayne as a Sports Reporter and Weekend Sports Anchor at WPTA ABC21. Recently, Chad joined the WTOC-TV crew as their Sports Director in beautiful Savannah, Georgia But that's not all! Chad's got some impressive experience under his belt, including stints as an Associate Producer for NBC Sports Chicago and a Video Production Specialist for Local 110 Chicago for almost a decade. Simply put, Chad knows his stuff about sports broadcasting, and we can't wait to see what he brings to the WTOC-TV team!" target="_blank">

A great uniter and talented broadcast professional, Nate is celebrating his 16th season working Cleveland Cavaliers games. He will tell you, “Being courtside for the National Basketball Association (NBA) never loses its coolness and running the RF takes you right in the middle of the action. I’ve worked 5 Finals and hope this squad takes us to the 6th!” Nate’s story began with a desire to be on the radio. While attending Ohio Media School he interned for some local Radio greats, but at graduation it would be a camera opportunity with PGA TOUR for ABC Sports that would change his career path. Nate is grateful to then Career Services Director Gary James for his career support. Recognizing the importance of networking and timing combined with hard work and reliability would become Nate’s winning combination for success. There was a lot of work in Cleveland and Nate was determined to grow his career as a camera pro. A Runner for ESPN led to 5 PGA Golf Tournaments and then to the Cleveland Cavaliers who had just made the playoffs. A talented industry pro who is cool under pressure, Nate has found great success. Each opportunity taken has brought him to the next.
