A group of students from Miami Media School recently paid a visit to Cox Media Group – home to some of South Florida’s most distinguished radio stations including Hot 105, 99 Jamz, Hits 97-3 and Easy 93.1.

Students participated in a VIP tour of the various studios and even received hands-on sessions with some of the best in the industry. Part of their tour included a visit to the Hot 105 studios for some one-on-one time with radio veteran, James T. James provided valuable insight into how he began his career in radio and his time as program director/mid-day personality where he oversaw the creation and launch of 99 Jamz.

In addition to the inspiring speech from James, students met Rick Party, also of Hot 105, and Toni Gonzalez of Hits 97-3. They even went live on the air with Toni for a special Miami Media School shout out!
