Sonya discussed the internship opportunities at a prestigious PR Agency like Margie Korshak, Inc. which offers their interns incredible opportunities to meet celebrated individuals like Sally Field and work on major commercial accounts. She also talked about how they apply social media platforms and the strategy they use depending on the client.
Ms. Loges has extensive experience in publicity and social media placement having served for the last three years in her current position as well as a co-founder of TASTE TWEET that plans, manages and executes real-time – promotional tasting events.
Prior to her tenure at Margie Korshak (one of the elite PR agencies in Chicago), Sonja served as an account executive for BVK Public Relations in Milwaukee and as a Fashion Dept. Press Coordinator for Kohls.
At Margie Korshak (MK), Sonja oversees the public relations effort and social media placement for clients such as Home Run Inn, Bombay Spice, Discovery Clothing, Bonefish Grill, Atlantic City Tourism, Fogo de Chao, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant Chain and many more prestigious clients. Part of her duties also demand that she develop and execute media strategies using social media outlets such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter as well as pitching stories to media outlets on behalf of MK clients.
