On April 2nd, veteran sportscaster Mike Tussey came out to speak to the OCB Cincinnati campus about his experiences in Sports Broadcasting.

Mike is the author of the popular book.. “You’re on the Air! ” which features memoirs and anecdotes reflecting over 5 decades in Broadcasting including key years serving as Program Director of prominently and nationally known radio station WTCR.

Mike also did Play By Play announcing for over 2,000 games for Football, Basketball and Baseball at the High School, College and Professional level which included both Radio and Television.

He has performed Voice Overs for Television documentaries such as “Kentucky the First West” , ”The Life and Times of Branch Rickey” and narration for the marketing video.”The Mickey Mantle-Whitey Ford Fantasy Baseball Camp”

The culmination of all his performances and awards subsequently led to induction into the prestigious West Virginia Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2010.
