Meet Daniel Chavez – Class of 2017, Colorado Media School
From aspiring media professional to established entrepreneur and producer, Daniel brings passion, persistence, and purpose to his creativity. A proud graduate of Colorado Media School’s Class of 2017, Daniel took his desire to break into the industry and transformed it into a thriving career. Now leading his own company, The Real Dan Chav, LLC, and producing digital and video content for Bonneville International, Daniel is building his legacy.
Every day, Daniel puts into practice the editing skills and creative thinking he sharpened at Colorado Media School. Whether behind the camera, in the editing bay, or strategizing content rollouts, his foundation in media production has become a core part of his professional expertise.
Daniel’s commitment to community and collaboration can be seen through his work with fellow alumni and current industry professionals. His connections made in the classroom have evolved into lasting industry relationships. With a long-term vision to give back to the institution that helped launch his career Daniel’s plan includes creating opportunities for the next generation of media talent.
His advice to those just starting out or about to graduate is to be hungry. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. You’ve got to want it more than the next person. Make a name for yourself.
With over eight years of hands-on experience in videography, photography, and marketing strategy, Daniel continues to empower brands through bold, integrated content solutions.
