Ohio Media School – Columbus Named an ACCSC School of Distinction
Third Beonair Network campus to earn the honor, joining Illinois Media School – Chicago and Colorado Media School – Denver
WHITEHALL, Ohio — September 21, 2026 — Ohio Media School – Columbus has been honored by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) as a 2025-2026 School of Distinction. With the award, Columbus becomes the third campus in the Beonair Network of Media Schools to earn the distinction, following * Illinois Media School – Chicago and * Colorado Media School – Denver, each recognized in its most recent accreditation cycle (* 2022-2023).
The ACCSC School of Distinction award recognizes accredited member schools that demonstrated a commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSC accreditation, as well as a commitment to delivering quality educational programs to students. Of the 216 accreditation applications evaluated by the Commission during the 2025-2026 cycle, only eight institutions were named a School of Distinction. The Columbus campus was formally recognized on September 18, 2026, at the ACCSC Annual Meeting and Institutional Awards Celebration in San Antonio, Texas.
“Three campuses in three states, each earning this recognition in its own accreditation cycle, tells you something about how this network operates,” said Imran Ali, National Director of Operations for the Beonair Network of Media Schools. “Accreditation is not a box we check once every few years. It is the daily discipline of doing right by students — in the classroom, in the studio and in every process behind the scenes. Our Columbus team has earned this, and we are grateful to ACCSC for recognizing their work.”
Ohio Media School – Columbus prepares students for careers in media and broadcasting through hands-on training that begins on day one, in professional studios and edit suites, under the instruction of faculty who are active working media professionals. Programs include Radio & Television Broadcasting, Digital Media Production, Audio Production, Film & Video Production and Sports Broadcasting, with Social Media Marketing and Podcast Production launching in October 2026.
