Take The Free Quiz! The ten months I spent at OCB afforded me the time to do a host of things, from being one of the first and last interns at WCIN on the overnight shift, to being the very first intern for the WB 64 News at Ten. In addition to the internships I was the production director for 80sbeonair.com, and eventually became the Program Director of the station. It is because I got so involved that I am so successful. You have to want it so badly that some news/program director will see that and have no choice but to give you a shot. Without passion, no amount of talent of skill will get you anywhere. This is a journey you are undertaking. But remember it’s not about the reward at the end of the journey, it’s about what you learn along the way.
“I got my start with Infinity Broadcasting in April 2004, before even graduating from OCB. I started off in promotions and quickly learned the ins and outs of the business. Now I am fast approaching my 1 year anniversary as a jock with New Rock 97.3!”
“My first love has always been radio but, I needed to express myself in other ways as well. I tried tap dancing, synchronized swimming, I was a stunt double for the velociraptors in Jurassic Park 1, 2, and 3, and I even directed the 6 month run of Broadway’s “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo” starring Matthew Broderick, but something was missing.” Luckily, that hole in Rosco’s heart was soon filled when he came to Cincinnati, “My Oz, I like to call it.” Here, he begins the newest chapter in life….Radio.
